As mentioned in a different posting... I love this nook. For the price, look and need.... you won't find a better furniture set. It's so sturdy that people actually think it was built directly into the kitchen, yet light enough to be moved with ease. But, yes, make sure you have a drill/electric screwdriver... it'll really help with assembly.

Product came broken a total of three times, is really junk and not worth fifty bucks - but the company was wonderful and wowed me with their customer service!

Once completed this looks great and feels sturdy. It's very attractive and does its job very well. It's almost like restaurant style seating. The little storage areas under the two main seats are really useful, but I wouldn't put anything too heavy in them.
Now for what's not in the description. You NEED a drill to assemble this. Some parts fit perfect and others needed pilot holes redrilled or new ones made from scratch. This can be assembled by one person as I did, but its going to take some time. The long and short benches can be put at either end of the corner with no problem and its made to do so. But once assembled there isn't really a way to re do them without ripping out the screw caps and un drilling and screwing a lot of it. So know how you want to lay this out before you assemble it.
The only real problem with this, like I said before is the NEED to have a drill on hand to help screw some parts in and redrill some pilot holes or make new ones entirely. A lot of the holes on my unit were either too shallow or just off, making screwing in some parts by hand pretty much impossible. After I assembled the two benches, I started assembling the corner piece but when I tired to attach them all I found that all of the pilot holes were just off and it wouldn't fit right. Luckily I had my drill on hand and made new holes myself and made it all work. it looks fine even with my tweaking to make it work. When its all done its very attractive, sturdy unit and I can see this lasting me until I move on to my next place to live.
I recommend this product. (Just own a good drill!)

I was excited and undisappointed when I assembled the items. I received the item so quickly without damage and so amazing that it so easy to assemble for few hours. My wife is so happy when we I assembled it quickly and started using it with a snack on this presentable and durable dining nook set. We have a small space apartment that makes the room spacious and modern to make this our dining set. Last but not least, I canvassed the price to any on-line store and this is the most affordable price offered. Thanks a lot!...:)

First off, this is a great price for a nook and I did my research. Secondly, it completely fits our needs and has proven a new place for my daughter and I to hang out and either prepare meals or do projects. The two storage spaces are a huge bonus. The unit is reasonably sturdy and was simple enough to put together. I did use a power drill at times and think it would have taken me much longer to complete without one. Regardless, it's such a great unit and with Amazon Prime it was free shipping so you can't beat that!
